Description

Datacenter Security Manager, QRO DC Security As a Physical Security Manager you will be tasked with driving operational security excellence in two separate facilities located within a short driving distance.

Making sure you fit the guidelines as an applicant for this role is essential, please read the below carefully.

Your constant vigilance will discover physical security gaps and shortcomings which you will drive to fix immediately. You will interface and direct vendors involved in new security construction, repairs, daily security operations and patrols, and planning. You will extract metrics and observe improvements by looking at hard data. You will make suggestions on improving electronic surveillance and access controls. You will direct efforts to educate facility occupants on false alarm reductions. You will write and implement security processes and procedures.

Your position will require you to write reports, create presentations and communicate with leadership on the status of physical security operations.

Key job responsibilities

Ability to walk a facility and observe security gaps in physical barriers, security officer procedures, policies, surveillance equipment, and alarm pointsDrive campaigns to reduce nuisance alarmsExperience with workflow ticketing and extraction of performance metricsInvestigate accidents, thefts, disturbances, discrepanciesOversee physical security subcontractors that provide guards, electronic security systems, door construction, door repair, fencing, and access controlsDistill overarching security strategy into daily tactics to reach management goalsOversee security construction projectsTeach others the proper security processes and methods

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bilingual (Spanish and English). Must have the ability to read, write and speak fluently4+ years experience with security operations and/or law enforcement2+ years experience with security vendors and contractors3+ years experience managing contract security and physical security operation programs, such as Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems.Ability to travel between facilities within the region

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years experience in security related documentation/reporting2+ years experience with LENEL or C-cure systems2+ years experience with trouble ticket systems for access requests2+ years experience with investigations including accidents, thefts, disturbances, discrepanciesFamiliarity with security program automation and implementationSecurity Certifications such as CPP, PSP, CFI are a plus.
